Poster guidelines
Instructions for Poster Abstract Submission
Abstracts are welcome in all fields of laboratory medicine (clinical chemistry, haematology, clinical molecular biology etc).
The abstract should be submitted in English via email: [email protected] . Please note that abstract will be accepted only if the main author is registered to the Congress. Abstracts will not be accepted via fax or post.
New deadline for abstracts is 15.02.2016!
Authors will be notified by March 1st, 2016 whether their abstract has been accepted or not. Accepted abstracts will be published. The authors of the selected abstracts will be invited to give a ten-minute oral presentation on Friday, May 13th. The best posters will be awarded.
Guidelines for abstract format
The abstract should be in the Times New Roman font size 12 pt with single line spacing for all abstract text. Please check the spelling and grammar carefully, abstracts would not be corrected. NB! Recommended file type is MS Word (or other textfail) pdf-files are not expected.
The following fields must be filled:
Abstracts Title: a brief title in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS to cleary indicate the nature of the study. Do not use abbreviations in the title.
Authors: full names of authors with the main autor's name underlined.
E-mail: e-mail address of the corresponding author.
Institution: names of the institutions, separated by commas.
Abstracts: where possible please use the following subheadings in italic font:
Guidlines for posters
Poster dimensions should not exeed 110 x 80 cm. Posters will be displayed on Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th. Handouts are also welcome.
BEST POSTER AWARD
At Roche we aim to develop novel medicines and diagnostics that will help patients live longer, better lives. Our strategy is based on sustained innovation and we believe that scientific breakthroughs are most likely to occur when scientists are free to tackle problems from different angles and in different ways.
It is a pleasure for us to continue our tradition to present Roche Best Poster Award for the best 3 posters in recognition to those who turn the variety of ideas into medical innovation. Award ceremony will take place on the 14th of May at 13:45 o’clock in Dorpat Conference Centre, Struve hall.

- Objectives: a sentence describing the purpose of the study
- Methods: description of observations or experiemental subjects
- Results: description of results in a logical sequence
- Conclusions: emphasis on important aspects of the study and conclusions drawn from them
